“Above Millions” Full Interview with Owner/Founder Albert Ayala

 

It started with an idea. A dream that has became a reality for Albert with his brand Above.Millions.

An idea that came to him in high school that later became his passion. With the abbreviation A.M in mind, he made a list of words to come up with a name for his brand. With a few names in mind, Albert made the decision by sharing the names with classmates and hearing their opinion. With a name and logo for the brand, Albert began his research on how the clothing industry works and preparing him self for what he was getting himself into. Life.Art14After figuring it out, he then got shirts printed and began taking pre-orders at school. By the time the shirts were made they had all been sold out. 5 years later as an entrepreneur, Albert continues the growth of his brand. It began with taking over his school, then his city, and his most recent accomplishment, making it to all 50 states in the U.S. The next big move for Albert and the brand of dreams is to go worldwide. “Wear something with meaning”. In our conversation with Albert we talk about the growth of his brand and get into depth behind the meaning of Above.Millions. Spreading positivity to all his supporters through his brand, Albert also speaks on the daily routine from his creating process to the work he puts in at his shop. He does it all for his brand. Watching from outside, we can say Albert and his brand have been successful. We asked him how he measures success and how he sees his success. Albert also goes on to tell us how he feels when he sees his brand around the city. Getting a brand out to all 50 states is a huge accomplishment for a dreamer, Albert tells us how he feels about this accomplishment and what his next plan is for Above.Millions. “it’s probably one of the best things when you embrace your existence”.
